Hands down one of the best sushi experience I’ve ever had in France. The quality of ingredients and originality of recipes compete with much fancier places where we would have paid at least double more. I am not sure such a place exists in Montpellier area anyway so you can’t go wrong. It was 11pm and we ordered the 80 sushi platter. Everything was very tasty and beautifully presented. Portions were more than generous, I can’t help but mention how thick and fresh sashimis were. The place doesn’t look very welcoming at first sight but you rapidly forget about it when the feast starts. Both the waiter and the owner were nice and welcoming, we even got offered a last minute salmon mango tartare before leaving, out of pure kindness and generosity. I will definitely come back whenever I visit Montpellier.Visited in July 2022

Owned and run by two brothers and they are Extremely friendly. The space itself is understated but don’t let that keep you away. The food? Absolutely delicious! Very fresh, made right there behind the counter! I highly recommend San Sushi for any one who appreciates the best sushi.

Best sushi in Montpellier (and the best value)! They offer all the classics plus some original recipes - the scallop rolls were really good! The chefs are really friendly and will do everything to accommodate your preferences. Everything was made fresh and super quick with fresh ingredients. Also they do the nicest seaweed salad ever - crunchy and delicious. Thank you!

Some of the best sushi in montpellier! The location is small with only a few tables, but that makes the service faster and individualized to each customer. Highly recommended!

Mention spéciale pour San Sushi chez qui je suis venu commander à emporter. Bon accueil et commande prête dans le temps annoncé. Les sushis et maki sont vraiment très bon ! J’ai pris des brochettes c’était la seul petite déception car le fromage n’était pas fondue mais sinon je recommande !

Excellent ! Nous sommes passé ce soir c’était délicieux, le poisson était frais les sushis excellents de très bonne qualité. Un accueil chaleureux avec un chef passionné depuis de longues années ! Je recommande vivement cet endroit si vous voulez manger des sushis de qualité !
